Last date for applying for Compartment exam 2012 is : June, 22, 2012

Last date with late fee of Rs.10 for filling compartment form : June 30, 2012

CBSE Class 12 2012 Compartment exam date/time for 2012 exam is announced by CBSE. The exam will begin on July 16, 2012. CBSE Compartment exam forms will be filled and sent through the schools.

The students who got compartment must contact their respective schools for filling up the compartment examination form 2012.

Compartmental examination will be held on 16th July, 2012. Regular candidates will route their requests through the Principle of school. The Heads of Institutions will ensure that the list of compartmental candidate reaches the respective regional offices with fee upto 22.06.2012 or with late fee of Rs. 10/- per day upto 30.06.2012.


CBSE Improvement Exam

CBSE Improvement Exam is a way to improve your class 12th result by giving the board exam again next year. You can give CBSE improvement exam for one subject or all five subjects.  The exam is same as regular board exams.


Some rules of CBSE improvement exam:

  • You cannot give improvement exam of additional subject.
  • Your practical marks will be carried forward  for the next year’s result.

FAQ of CBSE Improvement Exam

Q : How many times can a candidate appear for CBSE Improvement exam?
A : CBSE improvement exam gave only one chance in the succeeding year is permitted.
Q : What if I got less marks in CBSE improvement exam than original marks?
A : Marks of improvement exam will be final.
Q : Is a student required to appear in all subjects in improvement examination?

A : No Dear, Its your wish. Student can appear in one or more than one subject(s) as per his/her choice.

Q : I wish to improve my performance in Physics and Maths in class XII. Is it possible and how?

A : A candidate who has passed Class XII examination of the Board may re­appear for improvement of performance in one or more subjects in the main examination in the next year only.

The candidate may appear privately. Re-appearing for whole examination can also appear as regular candidate if admitted by the school.

* If the candidate has passed the practical examination, he or she will be allowed to appear only in theory part.
